As a church we meet in the building known as Mountpottinger Baptist ‘ Tabernacle’ . The term Tabernacle refers to the temporary place of worship which God instructed the Children of Israel create after their exodus from Egypt. The founders of the Church used this term to remind all who worshipped there that this was only until we worship God in Heaven.
The building was constructed only four years after the founding of the church in 1891 .
