Verse of the week

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin

1 John 1 : 7

Why not visit us ?

We Love God, we Love God’s Word, we Love God’s World

Come and discover how much!

While 70% of the world may be covered with water, we want it all to be covered with the good news of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Mountpottinger  Baptist Church has been actively serving God in the Templemore Avenue area since 1891. The church was established as a direct result of a survey of the area which showed that a large number of those with Baptist beliefs lived in the Ballymacarrett area . After an advert was placed in the Belfast Telegraph on May 5th 1891 , 50 people met in Saunder Street National School , Newtownards Road , where the decision of the meeting was that “It is desirable that a Baptist Church should be organised at once” and so 118 years later the work goes on.

As you can imagine things have changed dramatically over the years: the people , the building , the area , but one thing that doesn't change is the message we present to the area.

Sunday 5th July, the first of our combined evening services
will be hosted by ourselves. Service time will be 7.00pm.
